The holiday season is here and Mrs. Martin’s and Mrs. Groves’s students enjoyed a Community Based Instruction (CBI) trip to Lowe’s to check out their holiday decor! CBI provides our students with functional experiences needed to become successful community members. Thank you to our related service providers for tagging along to assist our students with their learning! #proudtoroar 💙🐆💚

Our amazing PTO said it best! Huge thank you to Qdoba! Check out the special message and amazing work they did with Mrs. Marksberry's class!

Look who was SPOTTED being kind!! Congratulations to these students for always being a shining example of what it means to be a Jaguar! You make us #proudtoroar 💙🐆💚

Students had the opportunity to celebrate World Kindness Day by creating positive posters for each of their grade level hallways as well as creating encouraging letters to our Red Oak Elementary students! Great job EJMS students! #proudtoroar 💙🐆💚

Out of over 500 submissions from across the state of Kentucky, 3 of our Jaguars were chosen to attend the Kentucky American Choral Directors Association fall honor choir at the University of Kentucky on November 1st and 2nd! They spent Friday evening and Saturday morning rehearsing with over 200 other Kentucky singers, and performed for their friends and family Saturday evening! We are so proud of this amazing accomplishment! Go Jags! You make us #proudtoroar 💙🐆💚

Kindness boxes are out around the halls of EJMS, to celebrate World Kindness Day. Students will have an opportunity to write about someone they “spot” being kind. Five names from the boxes will be drawn at the end of the day for students who are spotted being kind to win a kindness T-shirt, like this! #proudtoroar 💚🐆💙

We want to extend our deepest gratitude to all the veterans who joined us for our Veterans Day assembly. Your courage and dedication inspire us every day. Officer Billy King delivered a moving message about loyalty, bravery, and leadership. Thank you for sharing your story and experiences with us today. Beautiful performances by the EJMS Choir and Band, and student-led speeches dedicated to honoring our Veterans filled the morning. Thank you to those who serve, past and present. May you feel honored today and every day.

We are a day late, but wishing Mr. Greg a very special and Happy Birthday! If you see him around today, make sure to tell him HAPPY BIRTHDAY! He makes us #proudtoroar
