Meet the new EJMS Cross Country Coach, Bradley Leff!
I’m incredibly excited and honored to be joining East Jessamine Middle School as the Head Cross Country Coach!
I’ve called Jessamine County home for a little over three years now, living here with my amazing fiancée, Maddy, and our two dogs, AJ and Daisy. I’m originally from Spencer County, where I ran cross country throughout high school—so this sport holds a special place in my heart.
I’m passionate about building a team culture rooted in hard work, dedication, and teamwork—but just as importantly, I want to make sure our runners have fun and feel supported every step of the way.
I can’t wait to meet our athletes and families and get this season started. Let’s make it a great one—Go Jaguars!

Congratulations to all of our athletes who represented East Middle in the 2025 Kentucky Middle School Track and Field State Championships this past Saturday! We had 11 athletes qualify in multiple different events. Sophie Ulis received a medal for placing 8th in the High Jump and Ira Robinson received a medal for placing 8th in the Triple Jump. Way to represent East everybody!
Congratulations to our amazing attendance secretary Stacia Wallace, the 2025 Classified Employee of the Year for East Middle!

We've made it! It is the last week of school for the 2024-2025 school year! As usual, we have a lot going on this week, so check that out. Also be aware of summer hours at EJMS: the office is open 9 AM - 1 PM on the following days
July 7th, 8th, 14th, 15th, 21st, 22nd, 28th, 29th (Mondays and Tuesdays) and by appointment only July 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st (Thursdays). Have a great week and a wonderful summer break! We will see you in August!

8th grade we are ready for you!
8th grade parents - we are going to continue with the plan to have our 8th grade recognition tomorrow (Friday, May 16th). We will be adjusting the time to 5:30-7:30 due to the threat of potential severe weather later in the evening. We have a rain plan that we will share if necessary tomorrow afternoon. Looking forward to seeing all of our 8th grade families to celebrate the students!
