Huge shout out to our amazing school counselors this Counselor Appreciation Week! We especially want to highlight the incredible work they did today at WJMS for Operation Preparation answering questions and entering in elective requests. Helping students navigate their elective choices for their freshman year is such an important step, and our counselors are always there to guide and support each student as they plan their academic future. A HUGE thank you also goes out to the JCTC leaders and student ambassadors for their invaluable assistance in advising the students! Thank you all for all you do! #CounselorAppreciationWeek

Real world applications taking place in AP Physics today! The class did some accident reconstruction investigating. They were tasked with using tire skid marks in the parking lot to determine how fast the car was going before the driver slammed on the brakes and stopped. They took measurements, made calculations, and learned from our very own SRO Officer Wade about how the Nicholasville Police Department uses the same processes to investigate car collisions. Nice job, Colts! #criticalthinking #collaboration

Colts Snack Shack fun! Mrs. Whelan and Mrs. Florence's students were open for business today and had ALL the customers! So proud of these students for working and providing customer service to their peers! #coltpride #employability #JCSgraduateprofile
