We continue to celebrate Kentucky Safe Schools Week! Today, we're highlighting one of our key safety measures: all exterior and interior classroom doors remain locked at all times. This simple yet powerful practice helps create a secure learning environment for our students. We are proud of our safe school and all the faculty and staff who take the little steps, like locking doors, that make a BIG difference.

This week is Kentucky Schools Safety Week, and we want to take a moment to recognize Officer Johnson, our dedicated School Resource Officer at East Jessamine High School. Officer Johnson works tirelessly to ensure the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and school community. Whether he's monitoring the campus, building relationships with students, or providing guidance, his commitment to keeping us safe goes beyond the call of duty. Thank you, Officer Johnson, for all you do to protect and serve our not only our Jaguar family but our community as well!

Next week is Kentucky Safe Schools Week and this morning we had a kick off with a proclamation signing at JCTC Central with many of our stakeholders in Jessamine County invested in the safety of our kids. This was an opportunity to celebrate our partnerships and the measures we take on a daily basis to protect our students. Superintendent Crum said it best, “Safety is our first priority above anything else.” Here are a few pictures of our student leaders! You can probably catch them on the news tonight on LEX 18 or Fox News!
