Congratulations to Darius for winning BOTH knock out games today, including the half-court round! Centralis started with fewer students on the floor but dominated the games today! Way to go, TEAM PURPLE! 💜

Just an FYI...we found Waldo.

We are thrilled to welcome 350 fifth graders from the Eastside to EJHS! Our talented middle and high school bands and choirs are putting on an incredible performance, showcasing the passion and dedication of our arts students. This event is all about inspiring future Jaguars, building excitement, and strengthening our commitment to the arts here on the Eastside. We hope today sparks the start of a lifelong love for music and the arts for these young students. Go Jags!

Congratulations to our EJHS Volleyball team for winning the Team Spirit Award at Trunk or Treat! They took us to infinity and beyond with their fantastic Toy Story theme, featuring Slinky Dog, Buzz Lightyear, Bo Peep, and the whole gang. Their setup was clever, creative, and filled with so much spirit. We felt like we were stepping right into Andy’s toy box! Thank you, EJHS Volleyball, for awakening our own childhood memories and for showing up with your team spirit.

Shoutout to the East High Choir for winning Best Team Treats at our Trunk or Treat! They took us on an enchanting journey to Arendelle, capturing the magic of Disney’s Frozen complete with snow, candy, and a unique experience for the kids. Visitors entered the castle to make their own ice slime, and Olaf even made a surprise appearance! Thank you, East Choir, for bringing the Frozen magic to life and creating memories that are frozen in time.

Shoutout to our East High band for winning Best Costumes/Decorated Team at our Trunk or Treat! Event! They brought the spirit of New Orleans to campus with an amazing theme from The Princess and the Frog. We could almost smell the beignets and hear the horns of jazz filling the air. They made it feel like a night in the French Quarter. Huge thanks to our talented band members and parents for creating this trunk or treat experience!

Great house games today! Tomorrow it's Centralis VS Onca! 💜🖤
