This week during Advisory, our students took the Devereux Student Strengths Assessment (DESSA), focusing on key areas like self-awareness, decision-making, and relationship skills. These skills are vital for success both in and out of the classroom. We're committed to fostering a supportive environment where every Jaguar can thrive. A huge shoutout to our amazing Counseling team for guiding our students through this important process!

Check out our Rookie of the Year: Nicole Adams!!!! Though new to our school, Ms. Adams has quickly become a beloved and inspiring teacher. With an energetic personality and a passion for making learning enjoyable, she creates an engaging and supportive environment where students feel safe, valued, and motivated. Her dedication extends beyond the classroom as she has played a pivotal role in developing our theater program, demonstrating strong communication, creativity, and work ethic. Congratulations!

Our Teacher of the Year is Mrs. Angela Terry! She is deeply dedicated to her calling, consistently putting students first. She goes above and beyond to ensure every child feels supported, valued, and encouraged to succeed. Whether it is working to provide extra help to a student that needs it, finding creative ways to make lessons meaningful, or simply offering a kind word when it's needed, her commitment shines through. Her passion for education is evident in her constant efforts to connect with students and make school a place where everyone feels inspired to learn and grow. She works tirelessly to be at her best each day. To say that she cares about our kids and strives to teach content at a high level would be an understatement. Congratulations, Mrs. Terry!

We have a couple open positions within athletics that we need to fill before the fall season gets started! We also have a unique opportunity to build a new program, lacrosse for our athletes!
